Dana Medical Library 2022 Summer Hours began on Saturday, June 25 and run through Sunday, August 7. With these new hours, the library closes three hours earlier every day of the week for approximately six weeks. The library’s automated hourly door count and physical seat census from past summers support reducing hours for the 2022 summer session. Even if the library is closed however all library online resources are available from the library’s main page at dana.uvm.edu. Connecting from off campus is fast and easy, try the library’s Connection Options by Affiliation chart if you need assistance.
The library’s After Hours Study area is available to LCOM & CNHS students taking summer classes and UVMMC Residents with an active UVM ID. This space includes the two back rooms of the library, access to the library’s vending machines and rest rooms, and is accessible whenever the library is closed (with the exception of holidays). Online information and how to enter After Hours Study is available under the Dana Services tab here: https://dana.uvm.edu/about/after-hours. Hours and exceptions are posted on the After Hours Study entrance and online on the Visiting the Library page under the About tab. Medical students also have access to alternative study spaces linked to on the Weekly Wire’s home page. We hope to see you in the library and that you have a great Summer session!
