Information Literacy and Evidence-based Practice Instruction
Dana librarians work with faculty to incorporate information literacy and EBM/EBP instruction into in-class activities, online modules, small-group consultations with students, student assignments, and overall course and curriculum design. Contact [email protected] to collaborate with a librarian.

Provide Students with Online Access to Library Resources and Services
Howe Library provides instructions for Integrating Library Services and Resources into Brightspace (https://brightspace.uvm.edu) that will allow students easy access to online articles, journals, and databases. Using these links in other websites or emails will provide the same easy access. Consult with the LCOM Active Learning Team for help with links to library materials in the VIC Portal.

Articles requested from our library collection will be located and delivered to you by email, fax, or campus mail. Place request.
Request that materials from the Library Research Annex be sent to the Dana Health Sciences Library for your use. Place request.
Borrow materials from other libraries outside of the University of Vermont. Place request.

Visiting the Library in Person
The Dana Health Sciences Library is located in the concourse between the UVMMC Davis auditorium and Given building.
You will need an active UVM CATcard or a UVMMC ID badge in order to enter the library. See Visiting the Library for more information.
Borrowing books and other materials
UVM faculty, including preceptors and other clinical faculty, can use any library on campus.
Save a trip to the library! You can renew library materials yourself online. Call, email, or chat if you need help.
