EndNote is a commercial citation management software program that allows users to organize citations, references, PDFs and other information to be used for writing articles and course assignments. The University of Vermont subscribes to a site license making it available for free to all affiliates. Drop in to any of the workshops below to learn more about this powerful tool.
All classes will be held in the Dana Medical Library Classroom (room 108). You do not need to RSVP. Please note which classes require you to bring a laptop.
EndNote Basics Demonstration - no computers necessary
Looking to get started using EndNote? This demonstration in Dana’s classroom will cover downloading the program, setting up a new EndNote Library, importing citations from PubMed, and creating manuscripts and bibliographies using your EndNote Library. Please note this is a demonstration only.

Advanced EndNote Tips and Tricks - for hands on experience, bring your laptop
Learn advanced features of EndNote: information management tools within the program; groups and group sets; editing output styles; downloading new styles; journal term lists; and more! The first portion of the class will be demonstration only. Time will also be devoted to troubleshooting individual problems.
