Exam week is the library’s busiest time of year. Seating is often at a premium and study rooms booked out well in advance. The library will offer some exam de-stress options again this year to help ease the burden.
- The ever popular puzzle table will be set up at the front of the library.
- Students can also check out the library’s Game Collection if they need a break from studying.
- Dana classroom’s low-sensory hour on Mondays will be extended to Noon-2pm, Monday-Wednesday of exam week. The classroom’s lights will be dimmed and a relaxing music/ambiance video will be played on the large monitor. It makes for a great place to study quietly, or just chill for a few minutes. The Dana classroom is open to everyone and has 18 mobile desks and two privacy screens that can be rearranged to meet your study group’s needs.
- Finally on Monday, May 8, Dana will provide a coffee and tea bar from 4pm-8pm in the library’s main hallway.
If you or your group have trouble finding a place to sit, ask at the Main Desk. Staff do a seat count at the bottom of every hour and might know where there are available seats. Good Luck with exams!
