Support the Kellogg-Hubbard Library Flood Recovery

Date:
Wednesday, August 2, 2023

Our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the flooding across Vermont in recent weeks. In the library community, we are pulling together to support the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier that experienced extensive damage. Donate.

The Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier suffered more than half a million dollars in losses from the July 11th flood and has a long road to recovery ahead. They need your help to rebuild, reopen, and continue their mission of empowering community members to become lifelong learners. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, all gifts received by August 15 will be matched, up to $15, 000! Donate to the Kellogg-Hubbard via and your gift, matched dollar for dollar, will enable this beloved institution to fully serve Montpelier and the surrounding communities once more.

If you're able to make a monetary donation, don't hesitate! Donate directly to Kellogg-Hubbard.

In the meantime, check out this lovely and inspiring fundraising video for the Kellogg-Hubbard created with the assistance of Senator Patrick Leahy and author Alison Bechdel.
